Limelight Networks Reports Continuing Strong Growth
TEMPE, AZ – May 3, 2006 – Limelight Networks, the world’s leading digital media delivery network, today reported continued strong growth for the first quarter of 2006, as quarterly revenue rose to well over $10 million, an increase of 40% over the fourth quarter of 2005 and 200% over the year-ago quarter. Other highlights of 2006′s first quarter include:
The quarter marked the company’s 10th consecutive quarter of net income profitability.
Monthly revenue exceeded $4 million for the first time in March.
Limelight’s customer base grew to more than 500 customers during the quarter.
