Limelight Networks and tvCompass Team to Deliver Advanced Internet Services to Home Theater Viewers

Limelight Selected as Preferred Content Delivery Network for tvCompass’s Smart Remote™ High-End Internet Enabled Remote Controls

TEMPE, AZ and CHICAGO, IL – April 11, 2007 – Limelight Networks, a leading content delivery network for digital media, and tvCompass, Inc. today announced a preferred partner agreement under which Limelight will provide content delivery network services for tvCompass’ Smart Remote™ wireless handheld device. The Smart Remote is a premium home theater remote control with wireless connectivity to the Internet for downloading advanced services such as TV listing guides and pay-per-view services with video preview on the remote’s color LCD screen.

The company licenses its hardware and software technology and currently generates revenues from its click365™ wireless content network with applications and services delivered to the Smart Remote color LCD screen. The Smart Remote device is available through tvCompass OEMs such as byd:sign, a manufacturer of a high-performance HD-only flat panel TVs for the home theater market.

The Limelight services that tvCompass will leverage include Limelight Content Delivery, which provides HTTP distribution of all digital media formats, and Limelight Streaming Media, which provides on-demand and live streaming of all major formats, including Windows Media and Flash Video.
