Stations already using the new platform include KPSD South Dakota, WNET New York, and WQED Pittsburgh. "As audiences continue to use the Internet as a means to enjoy video on-demand, it is important that television networks prepare their sites accordingly to meet that demand for content," said David Hatfield, senior vice president, Limelight Networks, Inc. "We're excited to be working with PBS on a national and local level to provide on-demand resources that can quickly scale to accommodate broadcast-quantity audiences, while providing the best viewing experience possible."
